Planning has just been approved for High Fishergate, a £12 million new hotel scheme planned for Doncaster town centre. The proposed 122-bed hotel will be Doncaster's first business class town centre hotel and the first hotel to be built in the town for 40 years.

As part of the development there will be 25,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space expected to attract leading regional and national companies.
The High Fisher Gate development is due to be completed in 2008
